What this means in practice

How recommendations are actually decided

Product recommendations are generated by first calculating your requirement (capacity, continuous output, solar input) from the inputs you provide, then matching that requirement against published product specifications using the scoring criteria explained on How We Review. Commission rate is not one of those criteria, and is never used to move a product up or down a ranking. See How We Calculate for the underlying maths.

When a link is not an affiliate link

If no active affiliate relationship exists for a given brand and region, links point to the manufacturer's own official product page instead. We do not fabricate or guess affiliate links — see the site's affiliate configuration architecture for how this fallback is enforced in code.
